Rugby Spring fair 2013

One of Rugby’s most popular family event returns this year on Bank Holiday Mon. 6th May.

The Rugby Spring Fair has been one of the largest social events held annually in the town for the last 35 years, with regular attendances of up to 10,000 people of all ages. This year it will be held on Oakfield Recreation Ground, next to the Co-op funeral services on Bilton Road. ( Due to continuing building work at the Ken Marriott Sports Centre).

There will be a full Fair Ground, Arena attractions, local charity stalls, specialist stalls, food stalls, and plenty of opportunity for family fun. The entertainment in the main arena will be provided by dance, gym, martial arts and other groups displaying their skills.

The organiser, Rotarian Ian Bentlett, told the Advertiser “ This is a major family fun day and we are lucky to have secured a superb venue so close to the town centre. We hope to see our usual large crowds at this event ”.

The date is Monday 6th May starting at 11.30am until 5.00pm.  Look out for our further announcements, come along, join in the fun and help to raise money for local charities.

If you would like a stall or wish to contact us please phone Ian Bentlett on 07730666691 or Joe Sadler on 01788 571317.

This year we will have FREE wifi at the event courtesy fo The Tech Factory, Rugby.
