Rugby Spring fair 2013

Rugby’s most popular charity event returns this year on Bank Holiday Mon. 5th May at the Whitehall Recreation Ground, Hillmorton Road.

A group of volunteers from the Rugby Dunsmore Rotary club have been beavering away for several months to organise the 36th Annual Rugby Spring Fair. They are confident that this year’s event will be more successful than last year when they raised thousands of pounds for local, national and international charities.

The Spring Fair is one of the most popular family events held every year in the town, with regular attendances of up to 10,000 people of all ages. For the last two years the Whitehall Rec. has not been available due to the building of the new Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Sports Centre. The new Sports Centre is now finished and the Spring Fair is back at Whitehall Rec. on Hillmorton Road.

The date is Monday 5th May starting at 11.30am until 5.00pm.  Look out for our further announcements, come along, join in the fun and help to raise money for local charities.

If you would like a stall or wish to contact us please phone Ian Bentlett on 07730 666691 or Joe Sadler on 01788 571317.

Following the hugely successful 2013 Spring Fair, where we raised over £13,000, we have given donations to many local charities who are in desperate need of funds to support their ongoing objectives.
